Mia Admire is a Certified Professional Photographer and the owner of Mia Admire Photography, where she's been turning everyday moments into lasting memories since 2020. With a background in communication, journalism, psychology, and creative writing, she brings a uniquely thoughtful eye to her work — one that's as much about connection as it is about craft.

Mia's photography has been recognized at the regional level, earning merit awards in 2019 and 2020, and her work was published in Appalachian Life Magazine in 2022. Committed to her craft, she travels to St. Louis each year for Shutterfest, where she gets to learn from and collaborate with some of the nation's greatest photographers. As a Flash Master member, she's constantly pushing the boundaries of what light can do in her work.

Whether she's documenting the energy of the Women's Expo, capturing the magic of Troutdale Santa, or celebrating community milestones like the Dog Park Opening, Mia shows up ready to tell the story behind the moment.

A dedicated leader in the photography community, Mia served on the education team of the Oregon Professional Photographers Association for four years before stepping into the role of Vice President in 2023 and President in 2024. She's committed to lifting up both the craft and the people who practice it.

Beyond the lens, Mia has always believed in giving back. She previously volunteered with the SDF Collective and currently serves as a volunteer photographer for HDGA. For Mia, great photography has never been just about beautiful images — it's about showing up for your community.
